On Feb. 15, Altair Jarabo and Diego Olivera confirmed their participation in the new telenovela "Mentir Para Vivir."

The producers revealed via Facbook that Jarabo will play Raquel Ledesma, the best friend of the female lead Oriana. They added that her character will be the owner and partner of a hotel boutique in the beach.

The producers stated that Olivera will show his dark side in the role of Jose Luis Falcon. He will play the husband of the female lead Oriana and father of Alina.

The production already confirmed that David Zepeda (Abismo de Pasion) will be Ricardo, the male lead and Mayrin Villanueva (Una Familia con Suerte) will play his love interest Oriana. Alejandro Tommasi (La Fuerza del Destino) has confirmed his role as Gabriel Sanchez as well as Lourdes Mungia (Adismo de Pasion) as Lila Martin. Alberto Agnesi (Abismo de Pasion) and Juan Carlos Barreto (Para Volver amar) also confirmed their participation in the series.

The Rosy Ocampo production will be written by Maria Zarattini who last wrote "La Fuerza del Destino" and "La Fea Mas Bella.

Ocampo recently stated that the libretto is still being worked on and that not all locations were defined but her team was already scouting.

Additionally the novela recently changed its title from "La Sustita" to "Menitra de Verdad." The official Facebook page then revealed a week ago that Televisa made them change the name to "Mentir Para Vivir."

Jarabo was last seen in "Abismo de Pasion" and "Llena de Amor." She had her big break in the 2008 novela "En Nombre del Amor." Olivera was last seen in "Triunfo del Amor" and "Amorcito Corazon."

There is currently no official date for the series but Televisa revealed that "Mentir" will replace Salvador Mejia's new work "Que Bonito Amor." More details will be revealed over the next month on their Facebook page.
