During President Obama's State of the Union address on Tuesday, Apple CEO Tim Cook will have one of the best seats in the house. Once again, he will be joining First Lady Michelle Obama in her exclusive box seats to watch the SOTU speech live from the White House.

The First Lady also extended special invitations to victims of gun violence, advocates for immigration and middle class families whose lives will benefit from the policy proposals the President plans to discuss tomorrow evening.

This year's SOTU will give special attention to tech savvy users as 100 of the White House's followers on Twitter, Facebook, and Google+ were choosen to watch the speech live. They were selected from 20 different states out of an applicant pool of 2,000 social media candidates. Not only will they watch the speech, but they will also participate in a discussion afterward. Americans will also be able to ask the president questions after his speech using Google's "Fireside Hangout," a web broadcast which uses the Hangout feature on Google's social network, starting at 4:50 pm EST on Thursday.

The White House also confirms that NASA's "Mohawk Guy," Bobak Ferdowsi, a member of the Mars Curiosity rover team at NASA and Caltech's Jet Propulsion, received a special invitation from the First Lady.

Rep. Mike Honda invited Ramji Srinivasan, the CEO and co-Founder of Counsyl in San Fransico. His startup company developed an affordable test that allows parents looking to start a family to identify more than 100 recessive genetic conditions that result in severe birth defects, chronic disease, intellectual disabilities and early mortality.
