The question of whether Fergie and Josh Duhamel are expecting a baby has hit the rumor mill but speculation has been put to rest, for now.

Duhamel was on the red carpet for the premier of his new movie "Safe Haven" when asked if his wife was pregnant.

His answer?

"No," he said to E! News' Jason Kennedy who asked him about the rumor.

"You said it will be your greatest career achievement, so we're waiting," The E! News correspondent said in response.

"Greatest life achievement," Duhamel said back.

Duhamel was also asked why everyone is so obsessed with the idea of Fergie being pregnant which is when co-star Julianne Hough took it as a cue to leave the camera frame.

"I'll let you be---oh, should I save you from this?" She said before ditching Duhamel who said he didn't know why the alleged pregnancy was such a hot topic these days.

Fergie was also working the red carpet at the event, posing for photographs in a skin-hugging Gucci dress and shoes from her own line.

"Safe Haven" is a romance drama about a young woman with a mysterious past, Julianne Hough's Katie, ends up in North Carolina and is forced to confront her secret past after meeting Duhamel's character.

The flick is another Nicolas Sparks adaptation and will be in theaters for Valentine's Day on Feb. 14.

Although it is sure to be a tearjerker like its predecessors The Notebook, The Lucky One and A Walk to Remember, the film might be a suitable choice for your Valentine's Day soirée.
