The Gators have ten straight wins, including each of the eight SEC contests. No one in the conference has come with ten points of them this season. Only the two non-conference losses have been single-digit games for the second ranked team in the nation.

Florida's leading scorer is Kenny Boynton with 13.4 points per game, though four Gators average at least ten points per contest. Patric Young leads the way with 6.8 rebounds per game, and Scottie Wilbekin has a team-high 5.1 assists per game.

Florida has spent 11 weeks ranked in the AP Top 10 this season, making the Top 25 in the other three weeks. The Gators received seven first-place votes this week, the most they have had this season. (They collected their first first-place vote last week.) Second is the highest rank Florida has had so far.

In the last game, the Gators defeated the #16 Ole Miss Rebels in their closest conference contest this season. Florida won 78-64 on the strength of 19 points by Erik Murphy. The senior matched Young's team-high of two blocks in the game. Young had 12 rebounds and 13 points in his effort. Boynton fell one point shy of a double-double, with the other four starts all notching double-digit points.

The Razorbacks are at .500 through their first eight conference games, winning last time out against the Tennessee Volunteers 73-60. BJ Young had 25 points off of the bench, while Hunter Mickelson contributed four steals and ten points in a similar role. Michael Qualls ended the night with a game-high 11 boards.

Arkansas has been defeated by Texas A&M, Ole Miss and South Carolina of the teams Florida has beaten, but both squads have handled Mississippi State this year.

Young and Marshawn Powell are the top two scorers on the Razorbacks, with Young averaging 16.7 points per game and Powell totaling 15.3. Powell is the team's best shooter at .532, including a .444 mark behind the three point line. Young also leads the team in assists with 4.1 per game and Powell is tops for rebounds (5.6 per game).

In the last contest between these teams, Florida won 98-68 on Feb. 18, 2012. Then-senior Erving Walker led the Gators with 31 points, which tied the game high from Arkansas' Young. Will Yeguete was the only player with double-digit rebounds, recording 11, as the Gators out-boarded their opponent 38-21.

The next game pitting Florida against Arkansas is on Feb. 23.
