British actress and model Emma Watson will be cast in wax for Madame Tussauds London, the legendary museum announced Friday.

Watson, 22, who rose to fame playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, has launched a promising acting career as an adult. Most recently, she starred in Stephen Chbosky's film adaptation of The Perks of Being a Wallflower. She also debuted as a model for Burberry as the face of their Autumn/Winter 2009 campaign.

"Emma is the perfect addition to the A-list line here at Madame Tussauds London," the museum's PR manager Nicole Fenner said in a statement on the museum's website. "She's a true English rose known and loved by millions of film and fashion fans around the world."

Madame Tussauds gave some hints on their website about what the wax Watson will look like. Watson "will be portrayed in a relaxed seated position, enabling fans to sit right alongside her on a luxurious chaise longue." As for her dress, Madame Tussauds said Watson will wear an Elie Saab gown, donated by the designer, that the actress once wore in 2011.

"Watson wowed the crowds when she sported the midnight blue backless full-skirted cocktail dress, embroidered with beads and crystals," read the museum's statement. "Her hair will be swept back in a casually elegant up 'do' and she will complement the dress with patent navy heels."

The museum's website provides a few photos of the wax figure's head. It's still in rough form, but it appears that Watson's wax replica will be smiling subtly and glancing slightly to the side.
