The infamous R&B singer Chris Brown could once again find himself in hot water. Fellow musician Frank Ocean wants to charge Brown, 23, for his involvement in an alleged brawl Sunday night. Ocean, 25, tweeted that he "got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. lol." He added that his finger was injured in the altercation and that his Grammy performance could be compromised as a result.

The argument began over a disputed parking space at a West Hollywood recording studio, and after escalating quickly, Brown reportedly punched the victim in the face. Officials plan to interview Brown and Ocean as well as witnesses. Witnesses have already reported that Brown and Ocean were involved in a brawl over a parking space and that both parties split up and left the scene before police arrived.

However, TMZ reports that neither of the two singers partook in any fighting, but that their friends did all the fighting, according to the surveillance video.

Despite Ocean's tweets and his eagerness for prosecution, Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore said that "it is [their] understanding it does not ride to the level of an alleged assault. As a matter of fact, it could be a minor scuffle over a parking spot."

Brown is currently serving five years' probation for assaulting his girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. If charged, Brown could have his probation revoked. He was also allegedly involved in a fight with recording artist Drake last summer at a New York nightclub, somewhat ironically over Drake's supposed relationship with Rihanna.

Brown has remained quiet on the issue, however he did state that he plans to focus on his work and "not negativity." He also posted a photo on Instagram yesterday of Jesus on the cross with the caption reading "Painting the way I feel today."

Brown and Ocean are both nominated for the urban contemporary album category at the upcoming Grammy Awards on February 10. Ocean's album Channel Orangeis additionally nominated for "Record of the Year" and "Album of the Year."

Ocean is also releasing his highly anticipated new music video for his Channel Orange track "Forrest Gump" in the upcoming weeks.
