It appears that the "Sexiest Woman Alive" may want to add something new to her resume-playing Anastasia Steele in the upcoming film adaptation of E.L. James' bestselling erotic novel "50 Shades of Grey." The actress told reporters that snagging the coveted role would be "a good time."

According to Britain's The Sun, Kunis said, "There are times when you just want to do something fun and different, because you're going to have a good time doing it." Kunis, 29, was previously mentioned as a possible contender for the role in October 2012 after being named Esquire's "Sexiest Woman Alive."

She had, until now, fallen off the radar in the race for the young naïve co-ed that enters into an S&M relationship with millionaire Christian Grey. The starlet, of course, faces stiff competition from several fan favorites, including Emilia Clarke ('Game of Thrones'), Felicity Jones ("Like Crazy") and Alexis Bledel ('Gilmore Girls').

In the latest Latinos Post fan poll, Clarke raced ahead to the top contenders spot with 36.31 percent of the votes, followed by Jones and Bledel, who were tied at 27.07 percent. Other mentions include 'The Vampire Diaries' actress Nina Dobrev and "The Descendents" actress Shailene Woodley.

The guessing game over who will land the highly coveted role of Anastasia Steele has run wild since Universal Studios and Focus Films purchased the rights to the film in early 2012. However, the book's author E.L. James and the film's screenwriter Kelly Marcel have told reporters that casting decisions will be held off until the script has been written and a director has been chosen. Marcel is joined by producers Mike De Luca and Dana Brunetti.

"50 Shades of Grey," which has sold 65 million copies, has no specified film release date.
