On Jan. 25, Jason Statham's new film "Parker" will be release nationwide. The film by Taylor Hackford also stars Jennifer Lopez, Oscar Nominee Nick Nolte, Wendell Pierce and Michael Chiklis.

Parker (Statham) tells the story of a thief with a unique code of professional ethics who is double-crossed by his crew and left for dead. Assuming a new disguise and forming an unlikely alliance with a woman (Lopez) on the inside, he looks to hijack the score of the crew's latest heist.

Parker marks director Taylor Hackford's first film since 2010 when he directed his wife Helen Mirren in the critically panned film "Love Ranch." He is also known for his Best Picture Nominee "Ray," which also received an Oscar nomination for Best Director. Hackford won an Oscar in 1978 for his short film "Teenage Father"

Jason Statham was last seen in "The Expendables 2" and "Safe." Jennifer Lopez last made an appearance in "What Expect When Your Expecting" and "Ice Age" Continental Drift." She has also recently hit headlines when she stated she wanted to win an Oscar and for her relationship with dancer Casper Smart.

"Parker" was partially shot in Ohio and Florida and will be distributed by FilmDistrict. The film will hit an estimated 2,200 theaters and is Rated R.
