Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez Breakup Revealed as Photos of Bieber Allegedly Smoking Marijuana Surface

For Justin Bieber fans, the New Year has been particularly newsworthy. The 18-year old superstar has reportedly broken up with girlfriend Selena Gomez, just days before photos leaked of the singer allegedly smoking marijuana, according to a TMZ report.

Seemingly confirming the end of his relationship, Bieber re-tweeted a post by user @trillbeibah which suggested that at least one song in his upcoming album will relate to breakups.

Sources familiar with Ms. Gomez spoke to Hollywood Life (HL), noting that "Justin told Selena that he wrote her a bunch of new songs and they are going on the album."

Another HL source adds, "I wouldn't be surprised if they got back together. They still both really care about each other."

As for the compromising photographs of Bieber, TMZ's own connections reveal that the star has a strict policy which deems all pictures taken at parties his property, as to avoid any negative publicity.

In other news, Justin visited a 7-year old cancer patient named Millie Flam on Saturday in response to a social media campaign, reports E! News. Millie was originally supposed to attend one of Bieber's concerts, but was unable to due to her treatment regimen.

Millie's mother, Amanda, explains: "All of a sudden it pulled through and we were able to do a really intimate little meeting with just her and us and Justin, and it was incredible and he was so sweet to her. He walked in and her whole face lit up, and she turned around and hugged her dad, and then he ran over and came next to her and gave her a big hug."
