CNN anchor Poppy Harlow caused panic and concern on Monday morning. She passed out during a live broadcast around 9am Eastern time.

The six-month pregnant anchor was reporting live about the new poll released by CNN about American attitudes to the war on terror when she began to slur and mumble her words. ''We have this new CNN/ORC poll which is quite - a quite a turn...in a...'' she trails off, a loud gasp is audiblly heard in the background of the set before the screen goes pitch black. Since the results of the poll created by CNN were on screen by the time the pregnant anchor began to feel faint, there were no confirmations whether the news anchor lost consciousness or not.

Acording to Mirror, a moment later, CNN returned with a segment and Poppy was replaced by reporter Brian Stelter. At the end of the show, Poppy reappeared at the news anchor desk to apologize to viewers and informed them that she was fine. She was later replaced by Christine Romans.

The pregnant anchor posted her apologies and thank you(s) on Twitter, saying she just got a little hot and passed out for a moment. Her exact tweet was "And for all of you on Twitter, who are asking if I'm OK, thank you so much. I got a little hot, and I passed out for a moment, I am fine.''

After finishing the show, Poppy dashed to the hospital to make sure if her little angel was fine, she then took to Twitter to inform everyone that the doctor said that her baby daughter, due this spring, is doing just fine. She then tweeted 'Was a scare but we are both ok. Thank you all so much!'.

The 33 year old journalist can be recalled being sent to Paris to cover the tragic terror attacks that happened last November.
After returning from the trip, Poppy and her husband Sinisa Babcic made a suprise formal announcement to all the viewers that they were expecting their first baby. Fans couldn't be happier for the soon to-be parents. People were congratulating them everywhere and wishing them goodluck. In an interview withTVNewser, Poppy shared that they could not be more thrilled to have a little girl on the way. She added that they feel really blessed and are excited for the adventure ahead.

It could also be remembered that Harlow experienced being in hot water when reporting the Steubenville, Ohio rape case in 2013. While repoting on the case, Harlow sparked controversy when showed and expressed sympathy for the high school footballers accused on raping a sixteen year-old girl. At the time, she publicly said that "it's incredibly difficult, even for an outsider like me, to watch what happened as these two young men that had such promising futures, star football players, very good students, literally watched as they believed their lives fell apart." People  believed it was not proper to express concern for the rapists and were outraged.

The reporter was born and raised in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area and attended Columbia University where in she graduated in the year 2005 with a degree in Political Science.
Harlow was hired as a news anchor for CNNMoney.com since 2008 and has been working with CNN since then.
