The debut of "The Force Awakens" is just days away, and fans are clamoring for more information about the story, character and whatever they can get from the film's trailers. One big question that lingers is who exactly is Rey crying over in the trailers?

To answer that question, the roster of who exactly Rey (Daisy Ridley) is going to be meeting, getting a chance to be close to and who probably won't be dying must be looked at.

According to Comic Book Resources, the most likely cast of characters that Rey will be encountering during the film will include Finn (John Boyega), Han Solo (Harrison Ford), Chewbacca (Peter Mayhew), General Leia (Carrie Fisher), BB-8 and Maz Kanata (Lupita Nyong'o).

First, let's cover the character of the AWOL Stormtrooper Finn, played by John Boyega. Tech Insider reports that the scene in which Finn attempts to battle Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) with Luke Skywalker's (Mark Hamill) old lightsaber might not end well for him.

A closer look into Finn's eyes as the dark force user approaches him is not a look of confidence as first thought but instead, a look of pure terror. However, Boyega has been confirmed to be in multiple films so it is very unlikely that his character will die.

Next, Han Solo and Chewbacca will need to be looked at. It has been long rumored that Harrison Ford did not want to reprise his role as the famous rogue starpilot, but deals have been made to keep Han in for at least one more film.

That leaves Chewbacca, Han's loyal Wookie co-pilot. The rumor of his death started when trailers showed a scene in which Leia is comforting Han. Fans know that Han does not need comforting, and only something like Chewbacca dying could make the character seek Leia's embrace like that.

However, the character of Han Solo would have much less of an impact without Chewbacca, so odds are if Han survives, so will Chewbacca.

General Leia is also a very unlikely candidate for death since Carrie Fisher has confirmed that Leia will be playing a large role in the entire trilogy.

BB-8 can most likely be ruled out since the form that Rey is crying over is clearly of a humanoid.

This leaves the pirate queen Maz Kanata. Not much is known as of now about Maz, except that she is the one responsible for giving Rey the lightsaber. As Rey is being shown as a scavenger at first, Maz could be a mentor figure to her, similar to Obi-Wan and Luke in the first trilogy.

Maz being killed by the Empire could be the stepping stone for Rey's journey to redemption.

Who do you think is Rey crying over? Fans will just have to wait for Dec. 18, 2015 when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" debuts.
