Telltale Games gave another holiday treat for "Minecraft: Story Mode" gamers.

In a new release on its website, the video game developer and publisher revealed that the fourth episode of "Minecraft: Story Mode" titled "A Block and a Hard Place" will be released on Dec. 22, 2015. The said episode will be launched in all platforms such as PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, as well as iOS and Android devices.

The new episode of the game will also be available via online update for season pass disc holders.

Nonetheless, besides revealing a specific release date, Telltale Games also provided some hints about the upcoming "Minecraft: Story Mode" episode.

As cited by Telltale's update, Episode 4 will unveil that "one thing" which can destroy the command block of the fearsome Wither Storm that has been getting stronger and more dangerous. Nonetheless, Jesse, Reuben and the crew need to take on a journey to the Far Lands in order to find that thing which could end the wrath of the terrifying monster.

Moreover, although the episode will feature the final battle against the Wither Storm, the group will also face challenges with some "uneasy allies" and "ailing friends" threatening to destroy the group and divide them.

On the other hand, with "A Block and a Hard Place" said to be the end the Wither Storm story, Telltale hinted a "mysterious" fifth episode that is already slated for an early 2016 release. Although no specific details about the fifth episode were given, the video game developer suggested that Episode 4 will at least provide gamers an idea on what to expect and what will come for the Order of the Stone.

As cited by Game Rant, Telltale Games is intensifying the production of "Minecraft: Story Mode" especially with the fact that an episode has been each month while also being released in all platforms including mobile devices in the same day.

The gaming news outlet added that, even though the game is not as "critically acclaimed" as the other titles produced by Telltale, "Minecraft: Story Mode" is still a decent game that offers light and thrilling adventure while giving a lot of references from the Minecraft community that avid fans will surely find entertaining.

The first three episodes of "Minecraft: Story Mode" are already available in PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PC, Mac, and iOS and Android devices. The Episode 4 "A Block and A Hard Place" will be playable on the aforementioned gaming platforms by Dec. 22, 2015.
