Still haven't received the latest Android OS on your smartphone yet? Know whether it's coming to your handset and when via the latest updates on the Marshmallow rollout.

NEXUS

If your device is a Google Nexus or Play Edition model, you should probably have received Android 6.0 by now, considering the rollout began October 6. That is if your smartphone is a Nexus 6, Nexus 9, Nexus 5, Nexus 7 (2013), or a Nexus Player. Check the About section in your phone to see whether it's waiting to be uploaded.

"Unfortunately, Marshmallow will not make its way to the Nexus 4, the original Nexus 7, or the Nexus 10," Digital Trends noted. "As such, if you have any of these three devices and want some Marshmallow goodness, you'll have to turn to the rooting community and get your hands dirty."

Currently, there's still no announcement whether other Google Play Edition models (Sony Xperia Z Ultra GPE, Moto G GPE, and the Samsung Galaxy S4 GPE) will get the update.

SAMSUNG

The South Korean tech juggernaut still has not alerted users on when Marshmallow will arrive in Samsung phones. However, reports hinted that devices likely to get the update are the following, as relayed by YouMobile:

- Samsung Galaxy Note 5

- Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

- Samsung Galaxy S6

- Samsung Galaxy S6 Duos

- Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

- Samsung Galaxy Note 4

- Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Duos

- Samsung Galaxy Note Edge

- Samsung Galaxy ALPHA

- Samsung Galaxy Tab A

Some reports also said that the following models may also get Marshmallow: Galaxy A8

Galaxy A7

Galaxy A5

Galaxy A3

Galaxy E7

Galaxy E5

Android 6.0 may arrive in Samsung devices in the coming weeks. Rollout timelines usually depend on the hardware model and the carrier.

MOTOROLA

The following models may be getting Android 6.0 soon, probably sooner than Samsung devices:

2015 Moto X Pure Edition

2015 Moto X Style

2015 Moto X Play

2014 Moto X Pure Edition in the U.S.

2014 Moto X in Latin America, Europe, and Asia

2015 Moto G

2014 Moto G and Moto G with 4G LTE

Droid Turbo

2014 Moto Maxx

2014 Moto Turbo

Nexus 6

Right now, the Moto X (2014) and the Pure Editions in Brazil and India has started to get the updates. It's only a matter of time before the rest of the world will be receiving Android M.

SONY

The company is known for "doing things slowly," according to TechRadar, so don't expect to get Marshmallow very soon. It will most likely arrive some time in the first half of next year. Sony has yet to announce when it will start rolling out Android 6.0. However, it's known that Xperia Z5, Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5 Premium, Sony Xperia Z3+, Sony Xperia Z3, Sony Xperia Z3 Compact, Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet and Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact will get the update, as well as Xperia Z2, Xperia Z2 Tablet, Xperia M5, Xperia C5 Ultra, Xperia M4 Aqua and Xperia C4.
