Selena Gomez sizzled on stage when she performed at the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show last month. However, the star is being accused of lip syncing during her performance.
Selena Gomez was as gorgeous as the Angels who walked down the runway during the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The singer sang "Hands To Myself" and "Me and My Girls" as models walked down the runway one by one. Everything looked on point, that's why people can't help but wonder whether the Latina singer was singing live or lip-syncing.
Seventeen reported that after people commented on her Instagram post about her gig at Victoria's Secret, the singer felt the need to address the issue. However, instead of doing so in a gentle manner, Gomez replied to the comments with some Latina feistiness.
"Yes I f*cking sing live," the singer said.
Before the lip-syncing controversy, there were already many people body shaming the 23-year-old in her previous post, Elle magazine reported. In the photo, Gomez can be seen eating what looks like a McDonald's burger and fries backstage before the show. The singer has not been shy about addressing the bullying that she receives. She even made fun of herself in the post by saying her food binge was the reason why she was covering her stomach the whole time she was performing.
"Wait, on the low though... This was backstage. Why do you think I covered my stomach during the show?" Gomez said together with the post.
Meanwhile, Gomez is rumored to be dating One Direction member Niall Horan. Rumors of their romance were fuelled after she was spotted with the Bristish singer at Jenna Dewan's birthday bash. The two also spent time together over the weekend when they hung out at the Santa Monica pier.
According to an article from Hollywood Life, friends of Gomez are reportedly happy with her new relationship. A source claimed that although she is excited for this new journey, she doesn't want to look like she's dissing her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
"She just is happy to move on. She's thrilled that her friends are happy for her, and she is happy herself. No more tears and drama is only a good thing for Selena," a source said. "She is very excited to take this journey with Niall and will not throw the relationship down Justin's throat. She wants everything to move forward and work out smoothly, and not hurt Justin's feelings."
