Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained is easily one of the most anticipated films of the holiday season. The film, which comes out on December 25, will see its first slew of reviews materialize on the internet Wednesday December 12 at midnight when the embargo on reviews ends.The Weinstein Company has held a number of press screenings over the last few weeks and Latinospost's David Salazar has already seen the film. Latinospost will publish a review in coming days for Django.

The film has been met with positive reaction from early pundits and viewers.  The film garnered a spot on the American Film Institute's Top 10 Films of the year and a few critics organizations have already reaped on some awards for the film. Leonardo DiCaprio and Christoph Waltz have already received some recognition for their performances including DiCaprio's win at the National Board of Review for Best Supporting Actor.

The St. Louis critics nominated the film for eight awards including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Chritoph Waltz), Best Music, Best Cinematography, Best Lead Actor (Jaime Foxx), Best Original Screenplay, and Best Scene. 

The San Diego critics nominated the film for Best Picture, Best Supporting Actor (Christoph Waltz), Best Cinematography, Best Ensemble, and Best Original Screenplay.
