A new "Suicide Squad" trailer is finished and has been approved, according to the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC).

According to Comic Book, the new "passed uncut" "Suicide Squad" trailer is rated 15.

The timing of the classification means a "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" debut is ripe for the taking. While this sounds exciting, since "Star Wars" is only days away, it is nonetheless surprising.

When Producer Charles Roven sat down with Collider just last month, he confirmed that a new "Suicide Squad" trailer wouldn't be released until next year.

Right now, details about the villainous superhero film remains largely unknown, therefore it has become one of the most mysterious comic book films of 2016. The thought of a trailer attached to the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" release would perhaps reveal more of its plot.

Until then, fans will have to rely on rumors to get a better grip on "Suicide Squad."

Below are 4 speculated plot twists broken down by What Culture, via a leak during this year's Comic-Con.

  •  Bruce Wayne Funds the Suicide Squad

Previous set photos have revealed Batman chasing The Joker and Harley Quinn, meaning the masked crusader will play a role in the Suicide Squad. However, despite actor Ben Affleck being spotted at the Toronto set for Suicide Squad, he wasn't wearing his bat suit, which could only mean that his other character, Bruce Wayne, is set to appear in the film.

  •  Deadshot Will Die

Will Smith's character, Deadshot, is reportedly one of the "Suicide Squad's" biggest draws. His sudden death will undoubtedly come as a big shocker but could be possible since the team is expected to suffer several casualties.

  •  Rick Flagg Will Be a Traitor

Rick Flagg is confirmed to be the only real good guy in "Suicide Squad," but there's just something strange about him, reports say. His bodyguard, the assassin Katana, reportedly shows that he could have a dark side.

  •  Harley Quinn is Batman's Former Flame

"Suicide Squad" set photos and official stills, according to What Culture, reveal a Harley Quinn origin story that's simple, yet twistedly plausible. The Joker will reportedly perform electroconvulsive therapy on Dr. Harleen Quinzel to transform her into Harley Quinn, highlighting the Joker's capacity for evil. If Harley is indeed Bruce's love interest, his relationship with The Joker will be more personal and shocking, making for a more interesting twist.

"Suicide Squad" is written and directed by David Ayer, starring Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Adam Beach, Cara Delevingne, Jay Hernandez, Viola Davis, Jared Leto, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje and Karen Fukahara.

It's slated for release August 5, 2016.
