WARNING: POTENTIAL "BIG BANG THEORY" SEASON 9 SPOILERS AHEAD!

It looks like "The Big Bang Theory" spoilers this season will have fans more excited for the upcoming mid-season finale of Season 9.

"The Big Bang Theory" Season 5 ended with the unfortunate breakup of Sheldon (Jim Parsons) and Amy (Mayim Bialik), and while Sheldon seems to have moved on already (as shown in the video below) in the latest "The Big Bang Theory" Season 10, it's Amy who wants to get back with Sheldon this time.

The end of the last episode shows Amy calling Sheldon to tell him she's ready to date him again. However, Sheldon's reply came as a shock to Amy and to "Big Bang Theory fans.

"Amy, I excel at many things but getting over you wasn't one of them. I think I need to be just your friend," Sheldon said while turning Amy's offer down.

Since Amy clearly was heartbroken following Sheldon's reply, the neurobiologist will try to move on from Sheldon, and recent leak about "The Big Bang Theory" season 9 Episode 10 confirms this.

According to Design & Trend, in Episode 10 titled "The Earworm Reverberation", Amy has made the decision of moving on from Sheldon by giving Dave another chance, now that it appears her relationship with Sheldon has no chance of recovering.

However, the bigger picture at the end of "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 may still see Amy and Sheldon in each other's arms. Executive producer Steve Molaro revealed this major "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 Episode 10 spoiler recently, saying:

"After over five years of dating, we felt the time was right for Sheldon and Amy to finally consummate their relationship, and we're so excited for the audience to see the journey over the next several episodes."

This means the two are finally going to have sex, or coitus, as Sheldon prefers to call the act. Being aware of the real ending, fans are waiting in anticipation for the next episode.

Meanwhile, another story to progress in the "The Big Bang Theory" Season 9 is Raj (Kunal Nayyar) and Howard's (Simon Helberg) band. The duo can't seem to get their band off the ground, and the mid-season finale will reportedly see the two tracking down their one and only fan.

Since "The Big Bang Theory" is one of current TV's top sitcoms, it would be no surprise that Season 10 and Season 11 could happen. According to The Inquisitr, Nayyar told the Miami Herald that Seasons 11 and 12 are possibilities, and he would want the show to air longer.
