HBO had recently released a teaser poster showing Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) alive. However, in what form and how the beloved character would be coming back from the dead is something that Watchers On The Wall might know. Tying this with previous leaks and fan theory, it seemed that the Lord of Light had shown his face this time and would be instrumental in resurrecting the Lord Commander.

According to the "Game of Thrones" fan site, Carice van Houten who is also known as red priestress Melisandre, had been seen out and about filming in Spain. Citing Spanish news site Los Siete reinos, the fan site said that star's scenes were being filmed in complete secrecy. However, sources spotted Jon Snow's direwolf Ghost was always present with the red priestess. The "Ghost-stick," which was used for the wolf's CGI stick, had been filmed a lot this time than the previous seasons.

Fans have seen how resurrection works in Westeros with how Beric Dondarrion has been brought back from the dead by Thoros. Each time he was resurrected, Beric came back a changed man. The process of resurrecting seemed to have eaten away piece of his memory each time. He also bare terrifying scars. When HBO released the poster trailer, fans were quick to point out that his left eye was hidden, hinting that Jon will not be coming back to life entirely intact.

However, a separate report from Watchers On The Wall revealed that Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) and Littlefinger (Aidan Gillen) were seen filming in Winterfell's courtyard. Jon Snow was also there and sources did not mention anything about scars or that something is wrong about the Lord Commander. Could this mean that a much powerful individual was responsible for his resurrection?

Melisandre and Thoros are priests of the Lord of Light. If there could be someone so powerful that could resurrect Jon Snow in his all glory and form, it could only be the Lord of the Light himself.

Early in November, actor Ian McShane dropped a very interesting hint about the character he plays in the upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 6. "I'll give you one hint. I am responsible for bringing somebody back that you think you're never going to see again. I'll leave it at that," McShane told Pop Goes The News. He added that his stint in upcoming new season of "Game of Thrones" is just a "one-off episode."
