The second trailer of “Attack on Titan” was recently launched by game publisher Koei Tecmo. The video confirmed that the game will officially launch in February 2016. The title is expected to change or have a particular description added soon.

Gamespot reported that “Attack on Titan” is inspired by Season 1 of the famous anime series. The new trailer showcased new dialogues between characters on the show, such as Eren, Pixis, Mikasa, Sasha and Levi. Fans also had a closer glimpse on how the 3D maneuver gear actually works in the game. There were also scenes involving the horse-riding gameplay.

The English trailer of the game was released earlier in November 2015. Although the release date in Japan has been set, there is still no news on when the Western launch will happen. The game was first announced at Gamescom 2015. Gematsu reported that first-print copies of the title will feature a product code that will provide early access to the cleaning costumes of Eren and Levi, as well as the Duster Blade weapon.

Kitguru cited that one of the best features of “Attack on Titan” is the lack of disgusting enemies. However, the villains are still going to be creepy, which will add to the excitement of the gameplay. The second trailer provided more details than the first, by presenting various elements like destructible environments, different titan attacks and how to cut off various monster body parts. The game will feature a wide array of titans to battle, and other dangers. Players can also train how to soar through the air with the aid of gas tanks and grappling hooks.

The game visuals were good, based on the video, with a cell-shaded visual effect. The environments also appeared well-made, while the maneuvers and attack movements were shown fluidly. Kitguru added that the game is certainly the most impressive “Attack on Titan” to date, in terms of graphics.

Omega Force is the game developer of “Attack on Titan,” the same team behind other popular titles like the “Dynasty Warriors” series and “Hyrule Warriors,” Gamespot noted.

“Attack on Titan” will be playable on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PS Vita. The game will become available in a standard edition and a limited edition. More updates and details on the game and Western release dates are expected soon, although fans expect that it will ship in North America and Europe sometime in 2016.
