The first "Captain America: Civil War" trailer was released, and as fans predicted, Iron Man and Captain America will have an epic battle against each other in the film.

According to the Business Insider, the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer made its debut on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" Tuesday night.

While the film is named after the shield-wielding hero played by Chris Evans, he's no longer the adored superhero that he once was. The film follows Steve Rogers' attempt to help friend and wanted man Bucky, which results to him being labelled a "vigilante."

Of course, the decision causes a major rift to the Avengers team, and as shown in the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer, Tony Stark is leading the opposition telling the cap, "Sometimes I want to punch you in your perfect teeth," before the two are shown battling it out.

Because of the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer and a few teasers from other Marvel films, Slash Film have listed several relevant information to take note of, including the following:

· Bucky's Memory Returned. He Has Been Framed.

The Winter Soldier's memory has returned. He's no longer the brainwashed and controlled as a paid assassin in "Winter Soldier." However, Bucky remains a fugitive because of his past actions, and the Cap has decided to help his friend, despite Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow's advice that he stay out of the situation.

· Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross Is Back.

His last appearance was in 2008's "The Incredible Hulk." Back then, he was Hulk's opposition in the US Military. This time, he is once again a US Military opposition to the main character. Ross appears to be the reason why the superhero registration act, which sparked the entire Civil War, has surfaced.

  •  We See The Sokovia Accords.

Ross hands out a legislation in the "Captain America: Civil War" trailer called, "The Sokovia Accords," which is akin to the comic book story's Superhuman Registration Act. The legislation is reportedly the result of the events taking place in the "Avengers: Age of Ultron," where Tony Stark and Bruce Banner created Ultron, both unsupervised, left Sokovia in chaos.

  •  "Captain America: Civil War" Will Have Two Sides Pitting Against Each Other

Team Cap has Steve Rogers / Captain America (Chris Evans), Bucky Barnes / Winter Soldier (Sebastian Stan), Sam Wilson / Falcon (Anthony Mackie), Clint Barton / Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) and Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen).

Meanwhile, Team Stark appeared to consist of Tony Stark / Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson), War Machine (Don Cheadle), Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) and Thaddeus "Thunderbolt" Ross (William Hurt).

"Captain America: Civil War" is out May 6, 2016.
