In anticipation of the fourth "Mass Effect," the rumor mill has regularly churned out new leaks about the title. The most recent one revealed a variety of information, particularly about the main character.

"A couple of users on Reddit recently posted a number of leaks from the upcoming game from a source who is familiar with an early build," Game Rant said. "The mods on the 'Mass Effect' subreddit have verified the source's proof, though the individual specifically requested that someone else post the material, fearing they would be identified."

Since EA or BioWare have not confirmed the said reports or have spoken at length about "Mass Effect: Andromeda," it's worth taking these details with an open mind. It's possible they're legit - and it's also possible they're not spot on.

"Players take on the role of an unnamed protagonist, referred to as 'the Pathfinder,' and like the original trilogy, play alongside two squad members," ScreenRant noted. "Whether or not the party size is locked to two characters remains to be seen, but only two allies were described - 'a petite, buxom, blonde woman. And another is a krogan that we saw in the E3 trailer'."

Further, the jetpacks seen in the teaser clips will allegedly be standard equipment for each team member. The Frostbite engine makes destructible environments possible, and enemies won't be permanent anymore.

"The story behind 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' revolves around the Pathfinder finding a new home for humanity and the other races featured in the series," ScreenRant went on to relay. "Whether this story runs parallel to the rest of the franchise and the Pathfinder was sent to find new planets due to the impending Reaper harvest remains to be seen."

"Currently, the main enemy race looks like a cross between the Collectors and Vorcha, and drop in from Cerberus dropships - maybe the Pathfinder may not be that distances from Shepard's fight after all," it added.

Game Rant also said that the Normandy ship won't be back and that there will be a new ship travel system, "where players manually fly the ship."

BioWare has been pretty much mum on the details of the upcoming game, which is probably down to it having a specific teaser release time frame that will appropriately and effectively whet fans to the right level of anticipation, leading to enviable sales figures. Or perhaps it's been tentative and slow in revealing what to expect from the title as it's not very sure when exactly it could release "Mass Effect 4."

What do you think about these new leaks?
