New UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm and Ronda Rousey are expected to meet again on July 9, 2016 at UFC 200, an event which Rowdy had already indicated even before the turn of events at UFC 193.

The deposed UFC women’s champion mentioned such in an article from the Rolling Stone, explaining that she will temporarily disappear to fulfill her film obligations and take some rest.

Despite losing to Holm, Dana White believes that UFC 200 will be the best place to hold the rematch, something he says “makes a lot of sense” via the MMAFighting.com.

Holm apparently has no objections and is looking forward to the rematch as she still holds high respects for Rousey despite the rough-ups she got before the two actually got it on in the ring.

And while the rematch is to be expected, Holm’s triumph does not come with a mix of criticism. Such comes from a former WWE wrestler, Taz, who hints that the fight was fixed per his observations as reported by CBS Sports.

“Why are some people not seeing this?” says Taz via his podcast. “This has been done in the wrestling industry for years. A guy or girl is going to take a break or go away, or has an injury that they have to tend to, whatever the reasons are, and they’re a champion … This girl’s earned it. But you don’t want that person sitting home for five, six, seven months with that championship. IT’S BAD FOR BUSINESS! TAKE THE BELT OFF HER!”

Taz has been in the wrestling entertainment business to back up his claims but it should be noted that the UFC is recognized more than the script-filled WWE shows.

Holm came out in the open to deny the allegations, saying that what transpired at UFC 193 is as real as it gets.

"No. Not in MMA fighting, especially with the UFC is going to be set up. These fighters go in there, and there's a reason Dana (White, UFC President) gives out those performance bonuses," Holm said via the Larry King Now.

Setting aside that clouded thought, the fact remains that the two will be at it again in 2016. So can Holm repeat or will Rousey regain the UFC title? What do you think? Tell us in the comments section below.
