2016 MacBook Air, MacBook Pro Not Yet Arriving Soon? [Specs, Features, Release Date & Rumors]

The latest in the MacBook Pro rumour mill might be a letdown for Apple enthusiasts.

Recently, there have been speculations about the release of the newest MacBook Pro what with the postponement Apple's announcements on its devices back in December. The "deferment" has led to a substantial buzz in the Apple community on the upcoming public release of the MacBook Pro, which is reported to overlap the approaching Black Friday sales across the United States.

A number of rumours, as per Realty Today, claim that the newest MacBook Air and MacBook Pro will be publicly available together with Apple's latest batch of laptops. However, the same report notes that the move might mean for a challenging marketing and sales for the latest devices as they might go against earlier Apple product deals. While this is true, the same report supposes that it backs up the rumor about the possible release of the newest MacBook Air 2016 and MacBook Pro.

Specs-wise, Realty Today notes that the MacBook Air 2015 is expected to be "the most powerful laptop," likely to have an Intel Skylake U-chipset and housed by El Capitan as its operating system. MacBook Pro 2016, on the other hand, is equally superior having been rumoured to be powered by the Skylake processor and supported by a chip found in El Capitan "found under the code AAPL 951." Consumers may also opt between two display options: a 13-inch screen or a 15-inch screen. Boasting of a longer battery life, online rumours claim that the device will be released this coming December. The most recent buzz circulating online, though, alleges that the latest MacBooks' release has been pushed back to make way for the newest iPad Pro.

Yibada, in a report, shots down the excitement and optimism of MacBook-related rumours citing that the much-anticipated release "may no longer happen" -- confirming the speculation about the debut of the iPad Pro. Apple CEO Tim Cook believes that the device will soon be replacing notebooks and PCs.

The same report furthers that the company is not in a rush to release the new variants of the MacBook as Apple intends to observe the iPad Pro's turn out -- officially and publicly released last November 11 and dubbed as the "most powerful" device yet.

"Yes, the iPad Pro is a replacement for a notebook or a desktop for many, many people. They will start using it and conclude they no longer need to use anything else, other than their phones," Cook said, in a statement to The Telegraph. The Apple CEO also maintained how tablets are "slowly creeping in the PC market" as a substitute to massive PCs. Moreover, the newest iPad will be appealing to artists and creative individuals the it boasts of an add-on, the Apple Pencil.
