'Clash of Clans' December Update: Here's What's Coming & What You Can Expect

The developer of the hit mobile game "Clash of Clans," Supercell, has told fans of the game that there will be major upgrades available for the December update.

Yibada reports that players will now have access to a level 11 town hall, as well as the mysterious Third Hero. While normally that would be a big enough update alone, Supercell has confirmed that continued work on keeping the game balanced between casual and hardcore gaming will be the company's main focus.

According to Neurogadget, the update has been in the works since Clash Con back in October but the update has been pushed back for quality reasons. Supercell has stated that they wanted the best experience for all their gamers hence the delay.

Besides the level 11 town hall and a new hero, the updates that fans are going to see stem from direct feedback from players of the games, via forums as well a message boards. One of the biggest updates that "Clash of Clans" will see is a larger map / play area. According to Supercell, this was the biggest concern from fans and players of the game.

The December update is also rumored to have a new defensive structure for players to use. While it hasn't been confirmed on what kind of structure will be added but it seems that it will be a tower of some sort.

Aside from the larger map size, and new defensive structure players are wondering what kind of hero the mysterious hero is going to be. Rumor has it that the new hero will be a mage class or master wizard. This hero class is supposed to be more powerful than the barbarian and the witch, but the control level is advanced so it is not for all gamers.

Although the update is still a few weeks away, Supercell did release a statement saying that the update has been in the works for a long time and that it should change the landscape of "Clash of Clans" for the better.

While waiting for the update to become available, Supercell has announced that they will be revealing sneak peaks on the updates starting on Nov. 23, 2015. The company is super excited to get the new version of the game online and into the hands of its loyal player base.
