Walmart finally unveiled its Black Friday deals about 2 weeks before the annual shopping frenzy begins. And the good news that most of the deals are also available online.

For those not wanting to form queues to the store at ungodly hours, this new development is a relief.

"Black Friday deals will begin on Thanksgiving Day at 6:00 pm," WRAL.com said. "Black Friday deals will be available (online) starting Thanksgiving morning at 12:01 am PST (3 am ET)."

For a change, the retailer is said to be doing away with the doorbusters to enhance the shopping experience of customers.

"It won't be rolling out hourly deals on different items," USA Today explained. "Instead, it plans to simplify the crazed shopping period by providing nearly all of its deals both online and in stores at once."

Cue more applause from holiday shoppers.

The doorbuster deal arrangement has been a Black Friday signature selling strategy also adopted by a number of other retailers. However, it had previously caused confusion and frustration among customers as it prompted them to find ways to get the items on sale despite the massive crowds and the risk of the products' non-availability.

This year, Walmart is hoping to avoid that scenario, and has also pledged to stock up on the most popular items.

"It's also bringing back its one-hour guarantee, which guarantees special deals on five products - an iPad Air 2, Beats headphones, an Xbox One, an HP Touch laptop and a 55-inch LG TV - to anyone lined up in the designated spot in stores between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. on Thanksgiving," the news source further reported. "Either the product or a raincheck for guaranteed delivery before Christmas will be available."

The Walmart ad released consisted of 32 pages, which you can view here, and had a variety of deals that allows shoppers to get an iPad Mini 2 for just $199 and a 7-inch Android tablet for about $29, ZDNet noted.

"There's also a more robust 10.1-inch Android slate with quad-core processor, 32GB of built-in storage, and a detachable keyboard for $79," the site went on.

"More than 100 video games many starting at $8 as well as NBA2K16, Madden '16 andFIFA '16 for Xbox One for $27 each ($32.88 savings), Fox 8 noted. "Video Game Console bundles including a PlayStation 4 Uncharted Bundle for $299 ($50 savings)."

Considering other retailers have doorbuster deals, will Walmart's strategy this year help them rake in hefty revenues? Tell us what you think!
