New promotional posters for the highly anticipated "Star Wars Force Awakens" have been recently released online and they depict several of the films central characters.

According to IGN, the posters feature Finn, Han, Leia, Rey, and Kylo Ren.  The posters not only show the characters, but also give insights on each character's personality and background.

John Boyega, who plays Finn, displayed the new poster of his character avia his Twitter Account. The posters show the face of the character with part of his or her face covered with their weapon of choice. For example, Kylo Ren's face is partially covered by his now iconic crackling red light saber.

These posters are the latest promotional materials revealed to the public. "Star Wars Episode 7: The Force Awakens" is expected to shatter all previous box office records, and many "die hard" fans are expecting a lot from the movie.

In other "Star Wars" related news, The Week reported that the creator of the films, George Lucas, recently sat down with current director J.J Abrams to talk about the upcoming movie. However, while Lucas asked several questions that the fans would like to know about, Abrams seemed to have a clever yet non-revealing answer for all of them.

The first question posted was about the grandchildren of Darth Vader. Abrams replied that he didn't know anything about it. Another question that Lucas asked was about widely disliked Jar-Jar Binks and if the character would see any screen time. Abrams said that he is currently in the process of making a Netflix series titled "Jar-Jar and I."

Abrams however commented on the omission of Luke Skywalker from all of the film's promotional materials. Abrams said that this is done on purpose so that all the fans can find out together why the Jedi is not included.

Answers like these make a lot of fans wish that they had a time machine to fast forward to the December 18 release date.
