"Avengers: Infinity War" may be far from its release date, but rumors about its plot and characters are already in circulation. Most recent word on the grapevine, and probably most shocking, is the deaths of beloved characters Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and even Iron Man, according to Yibada.

"Avengers: Infinity War" is, by now, known to be a two-part film, and rumors for Part 1 hints at deaths of the main characters, including the Vision (Paul Bettany). He will reportedly be the first member to die from the Mind Stone, which will be used by Thanos. The Avengers team will first try stopping Thanos by teaming with the "Guardians of the Galaxy," but it will only allegedly end in the deaths of many of the major characters, making Carol Danvers, or Captain Marvel, the proxy leader for "Avengers Part 2."

Another rumor is that two villains are set to star in Part 1, since Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will most likely be in the third film. He will reportedly be joining Thanos, who is also rumored to ask for Loki's help in securing the Tesseract, one of the Infinity Stones in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, according to Movie Pilot.

In the first Avengers film, it was showed that Thanos tasks Loki to retrieve the Tessaract, and as payment, he will give Loki an army that will help him take over Earth. This didn't happen, however, because of the Avengers team. In "Thor: The Dark World," the Tessaract was taken on Asgard and Loki, disguised as Odin (Anthony Hopkins), takes over (which would set the plot for "Thor: Ragnarok").

Another possible plot twist for "Avengers: Infinity War," is a third villain in the mix - The Vision, who will most likely become a traitor in "Captain America: Civil War," reported Classicalite.

According to a rumor from That Hashtag Show, The Vision will be on Tony Stark's team in "Civil War", however, an inside source says that he will eventually go to Captain America's team since he won't be agreeing much with Tony.

Another rumor is that Wanda (The Scarlet Witch) will be in a relationship with the Vision, hinted at before "Age of Ultron" ended. The Vision is also said to leave Earth at the end of "Civil War," a possible key plot twist because this will also get Thanos closer to the Mind Gem for the Infinity Gauntlet when The Vision gets to outer space.

"Avengers: Infinity War" Part 1 is set for release May 4, 2018. Part 2, meanwhile, will be slated for a May 3, 2019 release. The first instalment will star Captain America (Chris Evans), Thor (Chris Hemsworth), Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) and Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) as Avenger members, reported MNR.
