Leakster Evan Blass, also known as @evleaks, recently posted that there will be two new LG wearables for kids that will be available from Verizon. The smartwatches are rumored to be announced by the company soon.

Blass posted two images of what is said to be the LG GizmoPal 2 (blue) and the LG Gizmo Gadget (red) for Verizon. Based on the images, the smartwatches have a black face, silver bezel and their respective blue and red rubber straps. The LG and Verizon logos also appeared on the straps.

Phone Arena revealed that the two smartwatches for children will most likely become available at Verizon’s physical and online stores just in time for the holiday season. The original LG GizmoPal featured a simple design with a speaker and a button. It was initially showcased to parents so that they could monitor their kids, via a special app, real-time GPS tracking and two-way calling capabilities.

Verizon Wireless previously marketed the GizmoPal by LG as a wearable tech for children 4 years old and above. It had a single-button calling feature so that parents can stay connected to their young ones. Verizon cited that parents can control who can contact their child and vice-versa. The first model allows parents to set up two numbers that their child can call, as well as create two more approved contacts for incoming calls. There is also an auto-answer feature to prevent missed calls. Parents can see their child’s whereabouts in real time because it is a GPS locator. Parents can view their child’s location on a map via an app on their device, or schedule a period to automatically check GizmoPal’s current location.

Verizon Wireless added that the first model allows parents to manage the settings of the smartwatch directly from their smartphone. They can put a 4-digit PIN, switch and set up contacts and adjust other settings like volume and battery life. They can turn off the watch remotely. The app is compatible with smartphones running on Android 4.0 or iOS 7 at least. It is also durable and water resistant. The second model will most likely have the same features and more.

The new GizmoPal 2 added a screen and a more aesthetic look. Both upcoming devices can make and receive calls. Parents can also use their smartphones to track their children on a map. The official launch date and retail prices are yet to be announced, but the date on the screen of the GizmoGadget hinted that the pair might be announced on Nov. 12, 2015.
