'Frozen 2' to Tackle Elsa's Childhood & Past? [Spoilers, Release Date, Cast, Plot & Rumors]

"Frozen 2" is a long way to go, but with the success of the first movie, it isn't surprising that plenty of rumors and details are circulating about "Frozen 2" production. While many is unknown about the much-anticipated sequel, one thing's for sure - "Frozen 2" will center on Elsa and her childhood.

"Frozen 2" has a lot to live up to with the popularity of the first film, but according to iDigitalTimes, Disney is on the right track.

Website Movie Pilot has been working hard keeping track of every detail of "Frozen 2" production while Vine Report has supplied some juicy rumors, yet possible, plot twists.

Below are the facts, as supplied by Movie Pilot:

•  Young Elsa will be back in "Frozen 2" because the actor who played her has reportedly been confirmed to star in the 2018 sequel.Playing a heavy role in the plot, young Elsa will provide viewers flashbacks and potentially more details about her magical childhood.

 According to Movie Pilot, the "Frozen 2" Elsa will be more fun, especially while she hangs out more with Anna. This isn't hard to imagine since "Frozen" was about stopping an out-of-control Elsa. Elsa, as shown in "Frozen Fever," is doing way better than before, a trend that will no doubt continue in "Frozen 2."

"In Frozen she had such a dramatic journey, and at the end she's just starting to feel like she can open up and have some fun again. That's what was really good about Frozen Fever -- we could have fun with Elsa. And that personality ... you will see in the next one," according to Director Chris Buck.

•  While Movie Pilot reported an unfinished storyline, the script is confirmed to be underway and in Chris Buck's words, the ending will be "terrific."

•  The entire cast from "Frozen" will be coming back in "Frozen 2." In fact, the whole production team - from the directors, to the songwriters, to the design team - will join in on the sequel's fun.

The rumors may be downright impossible, but if there's anything revealed by the "Frozen 2" facts from Movie Pilot, it's that Disney is hard at work making the sequel just as memorable and magical as the first.
