Good news for Apple fans in 54 countries in the company's plan to release the iPhone 5 in over 100 countries.

"By the end of this calendar year, we hope to be in a hundred countries, 240 carrier partners around the world. This will be our fastest phone rollout ever," said Apple Inc. Vice President Phillip Schiller back in September's Apple keynote event.

According to Apple, the smartphone has already been released in 47 countries:

Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United Kingdom, and the United States, to name a bunch of a few.

Today, Apple has confirmed another 54 countries that will be able to grab onto the four-inch Retina Display in the next three weeks, starting from Dec. 7 to Dec. 14.

Dec.7: South Korea;

Dec. 14: Albania, Antigua and Barbuda, Armenia, Bahamas, Bahrain, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, China, Costa Rica, Cyprus, Ecuador, Grenada, Indonesia, Israel, Jamaica, Jordan, Kuwait, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Panama, Paraguay, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Taiwan, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Venezuela;

Dec. 21: Barbados, Botswana, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Egypt, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Mauritius, Morocco, Niger, Senegal, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St.Vincent and the Grenadines, Tunisia, Uganda, and Vietnam.

The latest of Apple's iPhone series features a four-inch Retina Display screen with a resolution of 1,136x640, iOS 6, an eight-megapixel camera on the rear and two-megapixels on the front, A6 processor making the device run twice as fast compared to the iPhone 4S, three microphones on the front, back, and bottom of the device, and the new Lightning Adapter.
