A Brazilian elevator ghost prank posted on YouTube on Monday has gone viral, receiving over 26 million views and more than 108,100 likes. The video, called "Extremely Scary Ghost Prank in Brazil," was created by Brazilian variety show Programa Silvio Santos, ABC News/Univision reported.

The nearly seven-minute-long video shows unsuspecting people riding an elevator when it suddenly stops and shuts the lights off. While most of the passengers attempt to figure out what has gone wrong, an eerie-looking young girl with a doll sneaks into the elevator. The lights then flicker on and the young girl screams causing passengers to cry, scream and, in some cases, yell some expletives.

Since being published on Monday, the video has garnered 26,496,832 views (at time of publishing) and 27,960 comments. While some comments raised issue on the safety of the video, most commented on how scary and funny the video was. "I was tearing up and laughing the whole time. Great job!" commented DigitalDirect2011.
