Things aren’t looking good right now for former NBA star and TV personality Lamar Odom since being found unconscious at the Love Ranch in Crystal, Nevada.

The latest on the former NBA cager is that he is still on life support and is now teetering on a 50/50 chance of pulling through.

This follows an earlier report that Odom suffered from multiple strokes and potential brain damage as he fights for his life.

Multiple drugs were found in the former Laker’s system that most likely includes cocaine and that herbal substitute for Viagra mentioned in initial reports.

Odom checked in to the Brothel last Saturday and was allegedly partying with some female companions. He was found by a woman face down before screaming for help after which the manager immediately dialed 911.

The manager rolled over Odom and found mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth at the time. Upon arrival at the Pahrump hospital, doctors had to insert tubes on Odom since he was having difficulty breathing on his own.

As of this writing, Odom remains in an unconscious state and it seems that his condition is becoming complicated. That includes multiple organ failure which seems to be tied up with the whole drug intake issue. He is current only 3-5 hour dialysis for kidney failure.

Among the first people who rushed to the side of Odom included his estranged wife Khloe, Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner.

His friend and former teammate Kobe Bryant also rushed to his side. Bryant was in Las Vegas at the time of the incident as the Los Angeles Lakers faced the Sacramento Kings for a preseason matchup. He left early without talking to reporters to check on his buddy Lamar.

When word about Odom’s condition came out, former teammates took to social media to pull for the fallen former NBA cager.

Odom entered the NBA in 1999 and was selected by the Los Angeles Clippers as the fourth overall pick. He spent 4 years with the Clippers before moving over to the Miami Heat in 2003.

He spent only a year in Miami and was traded yet again to the Los Angeles Lakers. Odom was part of that celebrated trade that packaged him with teammates Brian Grant and Caron Butler in exchange for Los Angeles Laker big man Shaquille O’ Neal.

He spent seven season with the Lakers and was part of the champion team from 2009-2010. He was also named the NBA Sixth Man of the Year for the 2010-11 NBA season.

From there, everything just didn’t work out for Odom as he struggled to get back to his old form. After the Lakers, Odom also had stints with the Dallas Mavericks, a return to the Los Angeles Clippers and finally with the New York Knicks. He would eventually be waived by the Knicks on July 11, 2014.

Outside the NBA he had a two-month deal with with Laboral Kutxa in 2014.
