Bloodborne gamers might want to mark their calendars.

PlayStation announced Tuesday that "Bloodborne  Game of the Year Edition" shall be publicly released on the 27th of November 2015. Developed by FromSoftware and directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki, Bloodborne's game plot involves the character Hunter living in Yharnam - a fictional, gothic city whose residents are suffering from an abnormal "blood-borne" illness. When Hunter mysteriously awakes during the night of "The Hunt", he searches for "Paleblood." This then spurs Hunter's adventures through Yharnam where he confronts and fights monsters. Gamers who play this game do so in a third person perspective and as "Hunter," their objective look for and defeat the source of the plague so he can return to the "Waking World."

According to Gematsu, the game was initially delayed for release was officially out in March 2015, having been officially announced during the Sony's Electronic Entertainment Expo 2014. Based on PlayStations official announcement on the "Game of the Year" edition, the new game will be challenging players in a completely new environment "including a monolithic clock tower, filled with Bloodborne's traditional blend of risk, reward and frightening boss encounters."

Gamers will also be geared up with outfits that will upgrade their "beast-battling arsenal" which will include a weapon called Simon's Bowblade, as per PlayStation.  "The Old Hunters" will also allow players to "go native" and transform into a formidable beast which might prove to be a real challenge for experienced players.

Game Rant raises players' concerns in a report regarding the new edition of Bloodborne. According to the story, gamers are wanting to know whether The Old Hunters DLC will be included in the Bloodborne GOTY disc or if it will be in code form. The same report also enquires "whether players will have to start a new Bloodborne save in order to play it," in a similar fashion to Dark Souls and its Artorias of the Abyss DLC. Some have also probed "why Bloodborne is getting a Game of the Year Edition" when the game only has a single expansion pack. However, Game Rant remarks that The Old Hunters "is actually two bits of DLC rolled into one." The same report cites developer FromSoftware saying that the reason is to "have more volume for players to play with".

Bloodborne Game of the Year Edition will be first available to Europe in PS4 edition on November 27, 2015.
