Could this be why N'Sync went "Bye Bye Bye"?

While appearing as a guest on "The Meredith Vieira Show" on Wednesday, former N'Sync member Lance Bass revealed why he could sympathize with Ashley Judd's revelation about getting sexually harassed by a powerful figure in Hollywood.

"This happens to men, too," he began, as quoted by Mashable. "When I was 16, 17 years old, there was someone we worked with that was inappropriately touching us. I was even aware at 16 that this guy was a pedophile and he was touching me oddly."

"I didn't feel victimised at the time, because I was very aware of it," he went on. "I'm glad that we were aware of it, and we didn't feel victimized at the time."

When asked whether he had spoken about the incidents, he said he didn't.

"I mean, with the guys we would talk about," he continued. "We would kinda joke about it - but it's not a joking thing. As a kid, it was odd."

Although he declined to name the person in question, some have speculated that he might be referring to Lou Pearlman, the man who formed the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync, whose members also included Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone.

Pearlman had been alleged as engaging in "inappropriate conduct with young boys" in the past.

"Pearlman is currently serving a 25-year federal prison sentence for conspiracy, money laundering, and making false statements during a bankruptcy proceeding," Mashable added.

Later, Bass went on to clarify that no molestation happened, only inappropriate touching.

"I even knew it at 16, 17, that, 'This isn't right. No man should be touching a teenager like this,'" he further revealed on his SiriusXM show, Dirty Pop with Lance Bass," Entertainment Tonight said. "You know, where they kinda give you the massages and he always did the whole thing like, 'Oh, yeah, if I massage your bicep like this it'll look much bigger. Just basically a reason to touch someone."

"No one from *NSYNC was molested that I know of," he went on. "So, there was nothing more than inappropriate touching ... This is a serious thing for sure, sexual harassment."

Although he still has not named the "touchy-feely" man in question, observers noted that his recent statement somehow echo what he previously said about Pearlman.

"He'd always grab our arms and feel our muscles and go: 'Hey boys, you workin' out? Yeahhhh!'" Bass told The Hollywood Reporter in an interview last year.
