Sarah Michelle Gellar, star of the hit show "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", will provide her voice to a Sith Inquisitor in the second season of "Star Wars Rebels."

Warning! This article will be containing spoilers for season 2 of "Star Wars Rebels."

Buzzfeed reports that Gellar's character is named the Seventh Sister, in which Gellar jokes saying her name maybe Seventh but she's definitely number one. Gellar will be chasing the rogue Jedi Kanan Jarrus, who is voiced by Gellar's husband Freddy Prince Jr. The actress states that Seventh Sister will be playing a "cat and mouse" game with Kanan and his crew.

Seventh Sister will be equipped with the latest Sith technology, which includes an Inquisitor dual lightsaber staff, exactly like what the Sith Inquisitor had during the first season, as well as imitation droids that can imitate the voice and looks of anyone. Gellar had been confirmed for the second season since March; however, her specific role on the show has been kept under wraps until now.

According to Den of Geek, the Sith Inquisitor has been called after the appearance of another former Jedi, Ahsoka Tano. Fans will remember Ahsoka as Anakin Skywalker's padawan apprentice during the "Clone Wars" animated series.

Tano was first seen on "Star Wars Rebels" in the last few scenes of season one. Tano had not been seen since her dismissal from the Jedi Order during the "Clone Wars" saga. The lost Jedi appears on the Ghost while the team is fleeing the Empire after the dramatic rescue of Jarrus and Ezra from the Sith Inquisitor. Tano had been going under the code Fulcrum from the start of the series and was helping the crew of the Ghost behind the scenes.

With Tano's appearance at the end of season one, it appears that yet another Sith Lord will be making an appearance alongside Seventh Sister. This Sith is none other than the iconic villain himself, Darth Vader. Vader will be playing a major role as it is revealed that Tano starts the season unaware that Darth Vader and Anakin Skywalker are actually the same person. It has been revealed that Tano soon learns of the fate of her former master while the Ghost is retreating from the forces of the Empire.

Season two of "Star Wars: Rebels" looks to continue where season one left off,  and with new characters on both sides of the struggle and multiple plot lines, it looks like Disney has created yet another smash hit.
