Now that they are reportedly back together, are Katy Perry and John Mayer ready to tie the knot?

There are rumors that the "Roar" singer and John Mayer are planning to get married soon. In a report by Yibada, the singers who recently rekindled their relationship after being seen together at a friend's wedding are planning to take things to the next level.

Reports say that the "Gravity" singer regretted letting Katy Perry go when they broke up previously. Sources added that although the couple had a rough start and broke up twice, they are in a good place right now.

According to New Zealand Herald, Katy wanted to have children but John was not ready for that kind of commitment, which resulted to their breakup. However, since they got back together, John has reportedly revealed that he wants to make Katy his bride first before bringing in any kids.

A source who is close to the couple said that John and Katy are considering a wedding in the summer.

"Before they have a baby, John wants to be married. Getting married isn't as important to Katy, but since it is to John, they've talked about tying the knot by next summer," a source claimed.

The on and off couple were spotted arm in arm during Allison Williams and Ricky Van Veen's wedding in Wyoming. The source added that being together again made the couple realize that they have something "special" between them.

"Being at Allison's wedding made Katy and John realise they've got something very special. They are ready to take things to the next level," the source said.

It was reported previously that Katy Perry had a "baby fever", in which the singer became adamant in having a baby since she turned 31. During that time, it was rumored that the singer was hoping to conceive a baby soon after her Prismatic World Tour ended.

John and Katy have been linked since 2012, and all through their relationship, they have been bombarded with rumors. However, in a previous interview she did, Katy emphasized the lessons that she learned from her past relationships.

"What I will say is that to have any relationship at this level, you have to just be protective and figure out how to navigate it. There is no handbook," Perry said. "In all my relationships, I've learned how I have to be more careful and that it's not up for public consumption."
