No need for an entire welcome brigade, just a man, his trumpet, and a bouquet of flowers. Ed Zamora welcomed his wife home with a beautiful cover of "What A Wonderful World" at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport in Texas.

As Zamora's wife of 33 years, Melody Chatelle, descended from the escalators to baggage claim he began playing the famous Louis Armstrong song. In a video uploaded by the airport, passerby are seen smiling in awe of the sweet gesture. They burst into applause and cheers as the couple embrace one another.

"What A Wonderful World" became the couple's song after his wife's mother died in 1999. Zamora tells TODAY, "We played it at her service, and whenever we hear it, we think of her. We've traveled all over the world and every time we go someplace, someone is playing that song. It's become our song."

However, during her two-week trip to Spain, Melody Chatelle told her husband she had not heard the song even once. Zamora then decided that song would be the perfect way to welcome her back home. Chatelle told TODAY, the moment was surprising because her husband, who was a former band director, rarely plays the trumpet anymore.

How adorable! Chatelle also revealed her reception could not have come at a better time. She just learned her father was ill and hearing the familiar number was comforting.

"So we went straight from the airport to my dad's bedside, and to have heard that song when I did, I was just floored. I was so touched," she said. "He gave us something to smile about."

"One of the takeaways is still be open to surprises after 33 years of marriage," Chatelle said. "For my husband to show up at the airport and do what he did was such a loving gesture.

"[I was] certainly in need of something uplifting, knowing where I was going and for what reason. It was a treasure that will always stay with me."

The heartfelt moment was treasure for both the airport and the internet. The international airport posted the video to Facebook where it received over 41,500 views. "Ed & Melody, thanks for sharing your special moment with us! And welcome home Mrs. Zamora!" exclaimed the caption.
