HBO has cast actor Joe Naufahu for a multi-episode arc on 'Game of Thrones season 6, Deadline reported. The report offered no further clue as to the character that the New Zealand-born actor will be playing.

Screen Rant, however, is guessing based on Naufahu's complexion and muscular built that the actor may play as a Dothraki. The website further guessed that he may play the part of either Qhogo or Akrat. Based on the casting call seen by Screen Rant, HBO is looking for someone with mixed ethnicity, tall, with swagger and linguistic bravado to play as Qhogo. Another casting call seen by Screen Rant that suits Naufahu is for someone to play as a fierce warrior. HBO is also looking for a tall man with mixed ethnicity for this role.

"Game of Thrones" season 6, which is set to premier by spring of 2016, is seeing an influx of newcomers courtesy of the onslaught that happened in season 5. Deadline has also reported that actor Robert Armayo has been cast for a still-confidential role for the next season. Variety, however, is guessing that he will playing as Howland Reed, Ned Stark's friend and father to Jojen and Meera.

Speaking of Ned Stark, Variety reported that Sebastian Croft was chosen to play the younger Ned. Fergus Leathem was also cast for the next season, possibly as a young Robert Baratheon. Variety has also noted rumors that Sam Coleman may play as the young Hodor. Max von Sydow is also one of the many newcomers on "Game of Thrones" season 6 . Sydow will play as Three-Eyed Raven.  Another newcomer is Ian McShane, who will play a still-secret role for season 6. Many fans are wishing that McShane will play as Euron Greyjoy. However, HBO announced that Borgen actor Pilou Asbaek was chosen to play the part. HBO has also cast theater actor Ricky Champ as Flynn. Icelandic actor Johannes Haukur Johannesson and actress Souad Faress were also cast for roles still being kept under wraps.

As for the fans' most asked question - whether Jon Snow is dead or alive - Maisie Williams has this to say: "All the time people are asking me if Jon Snow is alive and the answer is no! He's dead! I promise." Williams has also revealed to The Guardian that her character Arya Stark will be blind in the next season. She said she had been wearing contacts on the set, and the cast had been having a good laugh about it.
