The now Mr. & Mrs. Adrian Franklin who wed on Sept. 19 had walked down the aisle first as the flower girl and the ring bearer 17 years ago. Their story has become all the more interesting when their very own flower girl and ring bearer on their wedding showed signs that they are bound to repeat the love story.

When they were just five years old, Brooke had a crush on Adrian. Adrian, as all young boys are, hated Brooke for the mere fact that she had a crush on him.

Brooke told WBTV, that they went to the same school together when they were kids. She had always tried to find ways for him to play with her on the school playground. Adrian, on the other hand, found all means to avoid her. He would always get away from her by running and hiding from her, Adrian also told WBTV.

Adrian finally started seeing her in a different light in middle school, Brooke said. They eventually started dating. They had this cute game of drawing with their fingers on each other's back, trying to guess what the other person was writing.

One day, Adrian wrote, "Will you be my girlfriend." Brooke guessed it but decided not to answer. "Well Brooke, are you going to say anything?" Adrian asked. "Well you didn't write a question mark," went her reply.

After years of being boyfriend and girlfriend, Adrian finally decided to propose one day. Since the memory of their cute game was significant to their love story, Adrian decided to have his proposal drawn from that moment.

Adrian made a sign that asked "Will you marry me Brooke." He, however, removed the question mark intentionally. On the day of his proposal, he got some of their friends ride a boat with the sign. As soon as Brooke read it, Adrian got down on his knees, gave her the question mark. He then said "here's your question mark." Brooke said yes.

They walked down the aisle at South Gastonia Church of God again, as the bride and groom. Among their guests is the bride of the wedding which paired them as flower girl and ring bearer.

Brooke told BuzzFeed that they have already forgotten about being paired when they were five years old. But the bride brought the photos of them a month before their wedding. That was the best wedding gift they have as a couple.

The story did not end there. Brooke told Buzzfeed that their flower girl and ring bearer may repeat their love story. "He did not like her very much, but I think that she kind of liked him. They wouldn't walk arm in arm, but a guest saw the flower girl try to kiss the ring bearer, Brooke said.

"The mother of the flower girl texted me after the wedding and said, 'I guess I need to get to know the ring bearer a little more after your story,'" Brooke marveled.
