"Cool For The Summer" singer Demi Lovato posed topless on the cover of Complex magazine and talked about a broad range of topics, including her relationship with boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and Selena Gomez.
Complex magazine did a cover on singer Demi Lovato for their October/November issue. On the front page, Lovato posed topless while sitting atop a banana in a retro vibe photoshoot. The 23-year-old also did an exclusive interview with the magazine and talked about topics like her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama and her friendship with Selena Gomez.
Fox News Latino magazine did an article about Lovato's cover. Demi admitted that she no longer talks with Selena Gomez after their friendship went downhill. She did say that it has nothing to do with Selena's past relationship with Justin Bieber.
As a matter of fact, Demi had nice things to say about the "What Do U Mean" singer. She said that Bieber is "actually a nice guy" and added that he seems to have grown up from her observations.
When asked if she still keeps in touch with Selena, Demi just said "No." The singer said that growing up is one of the main reasons why their friendship slipped.
"When you're young and you get older, you change and people change. You have things in common, and then, all of a sudden, you don't. It's just a part of life," Lovato said.
The former Disney star also said that she is at the healthiest and happiest she has ever been. She reflected about her past experiences and said that it was all a "growing process" for her.
"Lately, I've been coming to terms with my imperfections and not obsessing so much about trying to make myself perfect. It's a growing process," Demi told the magazine.
Lucky for the singer because she has someone supportive by her side. Demi always made it a point to give credit to her boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama who has stood by her side during dark times.
The couple have been together on and off for five years now. Although they had a few bumps along the way, their relationship only seems to be growing stronger. Demi said that the only time they were separated was when she was in an unhealthy state and Wilmer refused to tolerate what she was doing to herself at that moment.
The singer also added that the confidence she is feeling towards her relationship now is helping with her career as well. Her song "Cool For The Summer" has been a massive hit on the airwaves since it was released.
