Is it all’s well that ends well between disgruntled power forward Markieff Morris and the Phoenix Suns?

Well it pretty much looks that way after Morris publicly spoke and said that “He wants to be here (Phoenix)”.

Keef made public his desire to be traded, something that stemmed from the trade involving his brother Marcus who is now with the Detroit Pistons. The move apparently irked the rising power forward and Keef made public his desire to be traded.

Despite his skills and obvious efficiency, there was no team that really came forth to instigate a trade. Either that or the Suns were simply not interested in moving him in the first place. But how can the two sides mend fences and churn out an effective season?

Asked about it, Keef Morris would rather not talk about the past months and move on.

"I don't really want to talk about what happened this summer," he said. "I just really want to look forward to this up and coming season and glad to be back with my teammates, glad to be back with my team."

It was an animated offseason for Morris who was even fined $10,000 by the NBA for making a public statement detrimental to the league. Until today, he has been mum on his plans despite hinting that he was interested in joining the Houston Rockets or the Toronto Raptors.

Detroit would have been a destination but apparently Stan Van Gundy wasn’t able to cook up something that would equally interest the Suns in another trade.

As things stand now, it may be a rude awakening for Morris who did issue some criticism aimed at the fans in what he thinks was lack of loyalty and enthusiasm.

More to that, there is the question on how his relationship with general manager Ryan McDonough will hold out from here on.

"He's certainly not the first and probably won't be the last player to be upset with the front office," McDonough said. "It happens. I view my job first and foremost to put the most talent on the floor if we can and to give coach and his staff a group of players that work hard and play hard and have a chance to win a lot of games. If that ruffles some feathers, so be it."

Of course, McDonough’s response seems a bit more on the professional side than the personal so the ties between the two will be a closely monitored sidelight for the coming season.

Indeed, the issue is a wait-and-see scenario and hopefully Morris’ improvement does not get affected by it. Will he last the whole season with the Suns or eventually be traded at some point?
