YouTube sensation PewDiePie officially launched his first mobile game titled “PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist”. The game is now available in the App Store and costs $4.99.

25-year-old PewDiePie, or Felix Kjellberg, from Sweden, is the biggest YouTube star in the world. His online channel garnered 10 billion views in September 2015, making it the most watched in the history of the video streaming site. His popularity has helped him rake in about $7.4 million from ads in the past year, The Guardian wrote. At present, he is expanding to other projects such as writing a self-help book as well as releasing his own game.

“PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist” is a two-dimensional platform game that is set in a unique universe. The game focuses on evil entities attempting to steal PewDiePie’s YouTube fans. The main character has to take on a huge adventure to recover his fans. There are plenty of collectibles along the way, such as Brocoins. There will also be levels and bosses. The graphics appeared well-made and the gameplay seemed fun, especially for those who are familiar with the characters.
Reportedly, PewDiePie was heavily involved in the game’s development to ensure that it would turn out the way his fans would have liked. The game is premium with no IAPs, Touch Arcade revealed. Engadget reported that the game was developed by Canadian studio Outerminds.

The game also features several other YouTube stars like his girlfriend CutiePie and people in his network like Marzia, Cryaotic, CinnamonToastKen, Markiplier, JackSepticEye and PewDiePie himself. The YouTube stars also lent their voices to the game, which might excite their millions of online followers. PewDiePie has over 39 million YouTube subscribers, while the rest also have their own, numbering in the millions. MTL Blog stated that when players finish the three main difficulty modes, a special Pug Mode will be available, featuring the titular character’s two pugs, Edgar and Maya. Considering the huge draw that these YouTube stars have on the internet, “PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist” is expected to be a huge hit.

The game is available on iOS and Android devices. Gamers can purchase from the App Store and Google Play. More updates and details are expected regarding “PewDiePie: Legend of the Brofist” soon.

In the meantime, Engadget also revealed that PewDiePie will be spending some time in Los Angeles to shoot a reality show. He is set to appear on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” on October 1, 2015.
