Has Justin Bieber actually joined One Direction? Or is he simply interested in knowing which act is the bigger one?

"On Tuesday (Sept. 22), One Direction announced that its fifth studio album, Made In the A.M., will be released worldwide on Nov. 13," Billboard reported. "The best-selling boy band's first full-length without Zayn Malik has been preceded by the top 5 hit 'Drag Me Down,' and will be followed by a hiatus of unknown length."

"Bieber - who has five No. 1 albums of his own - has a new album due out this fall, and sources told Billboard last month that the release date was... you guessed it... November 13," the music news source added.

Bieber has not really announced the official release date for his upcoming album until September 3, when he appeared on the "Tonight Show". The November release date had been rumored about prior to the confirmation.

With One Direction's recent announcement, it may be possible that the "What Do You Mean?" singer will move the launch to a date before or after November 13. Or perhaps he won't, if he's confident about his star power.

Despite the unconfirmed Bieber album release date, the Beliebers and Directioners have begun feuding over which artist is the better one.

"It is pretty crazy that musicians with two of the most intense fan bases are going to be putting out new albums on the same day," Hollywood Life pointed out. "While some fans jokingly tweeted that they don't have enough money for both to come out at the same time, many others took part in a poll to vote whose album will do better!"

"Although we definitely can't decide ourselves, Directioners have made their excitement known, already racking up more than 3,500 votes for 1D compared to Justin's 1,800," the entertainment news site revealed.

The vote triggered a fan feud, with commenters going back and forth over their respective pop music heroes.

On the other hand, the Biebs appear to have no beef with One Direction, even joking on Twitter back in April this year that he will be the band's fifth member.

"His manager, Scooter Braun, clarified the tweet before 1D fans could get into a tizzy," E! News said.

The Biebs' upcoming record will be the first one he'll release since 2012. In contrast, One Direction's "Made in the A.M." is likely the group's last album before fading out from the spotlight.

Which album do you think will sell more on November 13?
