As it currently stands, Temco Koei's "Attack on Titan" video game is still a PlayStation 4 exclusive in Japan. However, could this still hold true for the game's release to the western world?

Producer of the game Hisashi Koinuma has said that while the studio has only focused on releasing the game on the PlayStation 4 in Japan, they expect that the demand for the game in the west should be substantial, according to Dual Shockers.

Koinuma goes on to say that Temco Koei is open to making the games on other platforms for its western release. The director states that all it would take for this to happen is a sizable demand from the fans for the game to be ported over to Xbox One and PC. While the numbers for this demand are still left unclear, at least fans of the show who own either a PC or an Xbox One have something to look forward to.

During the recently concluded Tokyo Game Show, Toei released the trailer for "Attack on Titan", and the game itself looks beautiful. The animation for the game follows really closely that of the popular TV show and manga. For those who have not seen the trailer, it can be found on YouTube.

"Attack on Titan" is a popular manga comic turned anime that follows the adventures of Eren and his group of friends as they try desperately to defend what is left of human civilization from the titans. The titan creatures are larger versions of humans that do nothing but cause destruction and death.

Eren and his friends live in what is believed to be the last human city in the world, which is protected by a system of gigantic walls built to keep the titans out. When a mysterious titan comes along one day and destroys the outermost wall and allows smaller titans to enter the city, Eren must find a way to defend the people while finding out the mystery behind the titans.

"Attack on Titan" is being developed by Omega Force, the studio that is famous for the "Dynasty Warriors" franchise. The studio is given the difficult task of making a 3D environment that can successfully demonstrate the correct usage of the show's famous Maneuver Gear, which is a gas-powered pack that uses metal cables to move around the titans and deliver a killing blow to the creatures' necks.

The Maneuver Gear is one of the most unique parts of "Attack on Titan", and if the game is to be successful, Omega Force must give players a realistic gaming experience.

"Attack on Titan" is due out in Japan for the PlayStation 4 in 2016.
