As the days lead "Frozen" fans closer to its sequel's release date, more speculations on the follow up movie emerge.

Previously, rumors of a "Tarzan" link made the rounds after "Frozen" co-director Chris Buck reportedly imagined that Queen Elsa and Princess Anna's parents didn't really die while out at sea but got washed up on a jungle island (and later eaten by a leopard). The queen, as Buck liked to think, could have given birth to a boy, who turns out to be Tarzan.

And now, theorists have tied the linkage to "Tangled," thanks to Rapunzel and Flynn's appearance in "Frozen." The duo could be seen walking through a scene during Elsa's coronation. Rapunzel's hair has already been chopped off to a short hairstyle, which happened at the end of "Tangled."

"Though this may just be an Easter egg, a popular fan theory posits that the reason Rapunzel and Flynn were attending the coronation was to visit their cousin!" MoviePilot noted, adding that this theory was fueled by similarities observed between the parents of Rapunzel and Arendelle's heiresses.

"There's also the idea that when Elsa and Anna's parents died, they were on their own royal visit to Rapunzel and Flynn's wedding, when their ship was wrecked in the terrible storm," the site continued. "The connection was even drawn between Rapunzel's kidnapping and the King's fear that Elsa would be ostracised if her powers were discovered: after all, if your niece was kidnapped, you'd get over protective too!"

Are all these fan theories actually influencing the plot of "Frozen 2"?

Right now, all that the film's co-director, Jennifer Lee, would say to these "Tangled"-"Frozen" theories are that they're "fascinating," as noted by HitFix.

"I love that one. That's all I'll say. Their imaginations are wonderful!" Lee said.

Buck also commented that such theorists should get into the story room with the directors as they "have some amazing ideas."

Although there may be no conspiracy theory concerning all three movies, it may be possible that these speculations may have an impact on the makers of "Frozen 2" and get included somehow in the storyline. One can hope, but this is not a definite fact.

Further, there has been speculations on whether the ship that Ariel from "The Little Mermaid" be the vessel that the King and Queen of Arendelle sailed on, according to Entertainment Tonight. This puts the movie link count to three. If you add Buck's suggestion that the other side of the jungle island is home to surfing penguins ("Surf's Up"), that'll total to four. Now that's epic!
