Fans are highly anticipating the release of “Halo 5: Guardians”, the latest game in the popular franchise by 343 Industries. The game developer recently presented the opening cinematic for the upcoming game.

Chris Haluke, lead designer of the campaign, provided some details as well as well as their objectives in creating the new campaign on the community page Halo Waypoint.

Haluke wrote that they are already busy polishing every part of the experience. The campaign for “Halo 5: Guardians” is a captivating adventure that will bring players on an epic journey across the galaxy. Players will visit several worlds and the Halo Universe will forever be transformed by the time they reach the end of the story. Haluke continued that the campaign features the biggest evolution in the history of the series. They integrated cooperative play and diversity of player choice.

The Fireteam AI and Fireteam Orders system are expected to enhance player experience. The game engine has also been overhauled and technical improvements have been made to boost realism and graphics.

Haluke mentioned that when they were building the campaign, they had an early goal to provide some of the most robust sandbox experiences. They intended for missions to have the most weapons, enemies, vehicles, tactical options and exploration choices ever seen in the “Halo” franchise.

As for the “Swords of Sanghelios” video, gamers will find an open sprawling environment with several paths for gamers to explore. The design is excellently made and players can execute new movement abilities and attacks. The enemies were limited, considering that it is still an early level, but more are expected as gamers move toward the Elder Council Chamber. The chamber was shown under heavy fire at the end of the video. The campaign on “Halo 5: Guardians” will reportedly be a constant 60 frames per second, although it may not always be at 1080p.

Josh Holmes head of 343 Industries, shared how the frame rate will be maintained. The 60fps gameplay is supported by a new progressive resolution system that lets them dynamically scale the resolution at which the game is rendered, according to the requirements of the scene.

Screen Rant wrote that based on the new video, 343 Industries seemed to be keeping its promise to deliver the most visually stunning “Halo” game ever. The graphics were beautiful and expected to significantly boost player experience. The massive campaign is also expected to be one of the key strengths of the upcoming game.

“Halo 5: Guardians” will launch on October 27, 2015 on Xbox One.
