There are rumors that the HTC One A9 smartphone model is about to be released soon; and it will have the new Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and other powerful features out of the box. The flagship smartphone is also said to come with Sense 7.

LLabTooReR, a Twitter leakster, recently revealed that the HTC One A9, codenamed Hima_Aero, will feature the latest Android OS, as well as Sense 7.

9to5Google reported that the HTC One A9 will have an all-metal construction. A leaked screenshot reportedly taken from Geekbench showed that the upcoming device might be powered by a 10-core MediaTekHelio X20 processor, clocked at 1.96GHz, 4GB of RAM and LTE Cat 6 connectivity. The HTC One A9 is also said to have a 5.5-inch Quad HD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440. The device may have dual-SIM support and a revolutionary new camera technology, which will allegedly be better than the regular 20-megapixel camera that the HTC One M9+ has. Pocket-lint wrote that the Helio X20 chipset features eight ARM Cortex A53 cores and two ARM Cortex A72 cores. The four A53 cores run at 1.4GHz, while the other four run at 2.0GHz. The A72 cores run at 2.5GHz. The same chipset was featured in the HTC One M9+.

Other details such as the internal memory and price have not yet been revealed. It is rumored that the HTC One A9 will have a microSD card slot for expandable memory. Users expect at least 32GB of internal storage and a 3,500mAh battery. There are talks that the smartphone might launch in October or November 2015, which will make the A9 one of the first handsets to feature the Android Marshmallow out of the box.

Sense 7 is the new interface for HTC devices. It was introduced earlier in 2015 and presents a number of new customizations, features and options that will make navigation more convenient for users. Particularly, Sense 7 features Sense Home which will make app management a lot easier. With the interface, users can also customize their notifications, change the appearance of icons and images and adjust themes.

Initially, users speculated that the HTC One A9 might run on the Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box and be introduced during the September 6 event. Others believed that the device will finally be introduced on September 29. More details and updates about the flagship handset, Android OS and Sense 7 are expected in the coming weeks.
