Xbox One owners should be excited for the month of November.

According to Mike Ybarra, Director of Program Management for Xbox, in his post at Xbox Wire, Microsoft's video game console will be having its biggest update in two months and players can expect  an new "community section" that would make Xbox One more social, an improved Home, and enhanced OneGuide and Xbox Store.

Ybarra explained that through the improved social dashboard, players will be able to stay updated on the games they were interested in while also being able to view the popular and trending posts by fellow Xbox players through the trending section.

"Based on your feedback, this section is optimized to help you tap into what other gamers are doing on Xbox Live and directly contribute to the conversation happening within the Xbox Live community," Ybarra furthered in the post.

Additionally, the Director also cited that they are also "redesigning Home" that will enable gamers quickly and easily access games and applications that they recently opened and used.

Sharing achievements and game clips as well as receiving news and updates will also be much easier with the new update, according to Ybarra.

Moreover, the post also highlighted that through the update, many games from the Xbox 360 will be playable on Xbox One which will also allow multiplayer gaming between the said platforms

"At launch you'll be able to play over 100 Xbox 360 games on Xbox One with hundreds more in the months to come. This includes the added benefit of Xbox One features including screenshots, streaming, and game DVR - for your favorite Xbox 360 games," Ybarra added.

The Xbox Store and OneGuide will also see significant modifications that are projected to make the overall experience of looking for games, movies, Apps, Music and other contents in Xbox One faster and simpler.

However, Ybarra noted that the update will be implemented slowly as they are planning to roll out the update first to Preview members who will choose to "opt-in" on the invitation that they will send.

"We'll start with a set of Preview members who have historically submitted the most feedback -- it will not roll out to everyone at the same time. Our goal is to start with a group, get feedback, then roll out to larger groups for additional feedback over time," detailed Ybarra.

This new modifications comes amid the report of the PlayStation 4 3.0 update which will already hit beta testing. As cited by Game Rant, Xbox One has been overshadowed by its Sony counterpart, PS4, which has frequent bigger sales. However, the gaming website added that this is also the reason why Microsoft has kept working on improving its current generation consoles.
