From the first time fans saw the first trailer for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens", one of the biggest questions asked was who was the guy in the storm trooper uniform?

As time went on, fans learned that the actor in the storm trooper uniform is John Boyega, and he is set to play the character of Finn. According to Cinemablend, Finn is an AWOL storm trooper who left the empire and is now being hunted by the First Order, the Empire's Finest soldiers. After several other trailers, Finn has been squaring off with one of the film's major bad guys, Kylo Ren.

However, fans of the franchise got a surprise when in the scene in the trailer, not only does Kylo Ren have his own unique lightsaber, but Finn does as well. So where does this leave the character? Is he a Jedi? Did he build his own lightsaber? Can he actually hit something considering that he is a former storm trooper?

In a recent interview, Boyega was able to answer questions, but nothing too concrete about the film. Boyega was asked how being featured in a Star Wars movie changed his lifestyle and schedule. The actor answered that it has pretty much turned his world upside down. The British actor has stated that while he is relatively well known in his home country, he is yet to receive notoriety in the United States. He claims that he has to fly out to Los Angeles a lot and he is still able to walk down Sunset Blvd without anyone really noticing him yet.

When asked about being able to work with iconic figures like Harrison Ford and Mark Hamill, Boyega states that at the end of the day, they are still human beings. The veterans of the films are constant professionals and know what they are doing, but after shooting for the day, they are all great people and that he loved being able to hang out with them and pick their brains for ideas on his character.

Boyega has been seen all over the internet with promotional images for the upcoming Star Wars film. He has even been able to post pictures on his Instagram account showing Finn alongside Rebel fighters such as Han Solo and Chewbacca. The one complaint the actor has had so far is that fans have yet to see much of their legendary heroes in the trailers but instead have seen a lot of Boyega (Finn), Daisy Ridley (Rey) and Oscar Issac (Poe).

"Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens" opens in theaters December 18, 2015.
