Lenovo Introduces LTE-Capable YOGA Tab 3 8-Inch & 10-Inch: Specs, Features, Price & Other Details Here!

Lenovo is about to launch the new YOGA Tab 3 series. There will initially be two sizes available.

Phone Arena revealed that the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 series will feature an 8-inch and 10-inch model in the beginning. The two tablets will showcase the unique foldable stand designed by Lenovo. It will also have the hanger hole that will properly prop up the tablets in several ways, according to the user’s preference. The YOGA tabs will feature front stereo speakers, powered by Dolby Atmos 3D Surround Sound.

The YOGA Tab 3 8-inch model will come with an 8-inch IPS display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 with 189ppi. It will also be powered by a quad-core 1.3GHz processor by Qualcomm. The 8-inch device will have 1GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory expandable up to 128GB via microSD, and a 6,200mAh battery, based on the same Phone Arena report.

The YOGA Tab 3 10.1-inch version will feature an HD display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 with 149ppi. It will run on a 1.3GHz quad-core Qualcomm chipset and 1GB of RAM. The tablet will have 16GB of internal memory, expandable up to 128GB via microSD and an 8,400mAh battery.

Both tablets will feature an 8-megapixel camera on top of a rotatable module, allowing it to work as a front camera and back camera, depending on the angle. The tablet will also come with the AnyPen Technology, which allows any metal or conductive item to be used as a stylus as necessary. The two YOGA tabs will also run on the Android 5.1 Lollipop out of the box.

Phone Arena wrote that the Wi-Fi only version of the Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 8-inch model will cost $169 at least. The LTE-capable model will retail beginning $199. The YOGA Tab 3 10-inch Wi-Fi only model will cost $199 at least, while the LTE-capable version will cost $249.

The two devices are schedule to launch on October 1, 2015.

GSM Arena reported that aside from the two modest tablets, there will be a more powerful Lenovo YOGA device that will release in November 2015. The Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro 10 will feature a 10.1-inch display with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and a 70-inch projector screen. The Tab 3 Pro 10 will be powered by the Intel Atom x5-Z8500 SoC with 2.24GHz quad-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB or 64GB of expandable internal memory and a 10,200mAh battery. The more powerful tablet will also have a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. The Lenovo YOGA Tab 3 Pro will run on the customized Android 5.1 Lollipop. The device may retail at $499.
